General Description

The main scribe (ff. 1-52, a complete set of Corteccia's responsories, with revisions to adapt them to the versions in the print of 1570) was Michele Federighi (see below), who also wrote FlorL Med. Pal. 7, most of FlorD 46, ff. 81 '-95 of FlorD 45, and one piece in FlorSL O. Later additions by two other scribes. Copied in Florence. Original owner and compiler was Michele Federighi, prior at Church of San Lorenzo, Florence, and a pupil and friend of Corteccia. Manuscript presented by Federighi to Church of San Lorenzo in 1576.

[ii], added by later scribe, lists pieces in order of appearance. The main scribe was Michele Federighi (see below), who also wrote FlorL Med. Pal. 7, most of FlorD 46, ff. 81 '-95 of FlorD 45, and one piece in FlorSL O. Later additions by two other scribes. Inked calligraphic initials.
