MS 24a ("Primo Coro"): i + 75 + i paper folios, 425 x 293. Some folios damaged by ink corrosion. Modern ink foliation, 1-78, with numerous errors and inconsistencies.

MS 24b ("Secondo Coro"): i + 70 paper folios, 425 x 291-5. Some folios damaged by ink corrosion. Modern ink foliation, 1-69 ("54" omitted) + new pencil foliation, 70-71.

Original ink numbering of pieces, I-XXVIII (last 10 pieces not numbered). Both books have original covers of parchment over cardboard. No index. Copied by a single scribe. Staff height 23. Inked calligraphic initials decorated with drawings of flowers, insects, birds, and human faces; initials on f. 72' and f. 75 of MS 24a painted in brown, orange, red, and blue.
