General Description

A Discantus partbook from a set of six volumes. Each partbook is composite of several originally separate fascicles later bound together. Possibly copied by Erasmus Zollner, cantor at Gymnasium Poeticum in Regensburg during 1570's. Last piece (in S book only) is later addition by a different hand. Copied in Regensburg, probably for use by choir of Gymnasium Poeticum in local evangelical services.
