General Description

A Discantus partbook from a set originally of six volumes. Each is a is composite of several originally separate fascicles later bound together. Possibly copied by Erasmus Zollner, cantor at Gymnasium Poeticum in Regensburg during 1570's. Copied in Regensburg, probably for use by choir of Gymnasium Poeticum in local evangelical services.
