General Description

Paper and watermarks are almost identical with those of a register among local cathedral documents, dated 1534-7. Additions made by a second scribe c. 1545. From the Collegiate Church of Santa Maria Assunta, in Cividale del Friuli.

RISM Description

RISM B/IV 5: XVIe s. 86ff. Papier, 420 x 280 mm. Foliotation moderne. Les ff. 1, 19 à 20v sont blancs. Notation mesurée blanche. 10 portées par p. Reliure ancienne veau estampé.

Ce ms., qui provient comme le précédent de la Biblioteca Ex-Capitolare, a été copié pour l'usage de la cathédrale peut-être entre 1512 et 1515, car on y trouve un motet de Phil, de Lurano (no 16) qui y occupa la charge de maître de chapelle entre ces deux dates. Les nos 10 et 11 ont été copiés un peu postérieurement.
