A Discantus partbook from a set of four volumes, appended to copies of the prints Rore: Motetta … quinque vocum (Venice, 1545), and Schede: Cantionum musicarum ([Wittenberg], 1566). The pieces were presumably selected and copied from RISM 1538/6. Originally owned by Johannes Lauterbach (1531-93), a poet and educator who lived at Heilbronn from 1567 to 1593 (SiegM).
