Recovered from bindings of liturgical manuscripts. Apparently the only surviving remnants of a larger musical manuscript of unknown extent; PirrL refutes Ghil's assertion that these leaves once belonged to same original manuscript as LucAS 184 and PerBC 3065. Copied by a single scribe. Possibly copied in Pistoia

RISM Description

RISM B/IV 4: 15. Jh.; 4 Blätter (2 Doppelbllätter) Pergament, ca. 230 x 160/120 mm (zum Teil stark beschnitten). Moderne Foliierung von f. I-IV. Je Seite 8 Fünfliniensysteme mit schwarzer und schwarz/hohler Mensuralnotation.

Die beiden Doppelblätter, die derselben um 1400 oder im frühen 15. Jh. geschriebenen italienischen Handschrift angehören, dienten als Deck- beziehungsweise Vorsatzblätter zu liturgischen Handschriften Das ursprüngliche Format betrug ca. 250 x 165 mm. Die Blätter weisen keine direkten Beziehungen zu anderen bekannten Fragmenten oder Handschriften auf (auch nicht zu I-Las184). Die Stücke des 2. Doppelblatt (f. III/IV) stehen auf Palimpsest (Vokabular oder Kommentar des 12. Jh. ?).
