General Description

Music is found only on ff. 121-144'; the Dutch pieces are on ff. 121-132, the motets on ff. 132'-144'. Most of the pieces are for the Christmas season. The repertory is related to that of BerlS 190 and BerlS 280. Dutch provenance(?). The manuscript was owned by Jacob Koning of Amsterdam, J. J. Van Voorst, A. D. Schinkel, and Coussemaker before being acquired by the Bibliothèque Royale upon Coussemaker's death.

174 parchment and paper folios, 137 x 100. Five of the motets are in black notation. Some initials and rubrics. The repertory is related to that of BerlS 190 and BerlS 280. Music is found only on ff. 121-144'; the Dutch pieces are on ff. 121-132, the motets on ff. 132'-144'. Most of the pieces are for the Christmas season.
