Main corpus folios I-CLVIII with separate fascicles front and back (f.A-D and E-U). Title 'Libro del te Deum e Chirie del tempore Pasquale'. 177 folios in total. Original foliation in corpus, no foliation in outer fascicles. 5 4-line staves per page. 18th century binding, leather over wood boards.

RISM B/IV 4: 15. Jh.; 177 Blätter Pergament + 1 Vorsatzblatt 565 x 410 mm. Originale Foliierung von f. I-CLVIII, Anfang und Schluß (f. A-D, E-U) ohne Foliierung Je Seite 5 Vierliniensysteme mit Quadratnotation (f. 140-148: schwarze Mensuralnotation); f. A-D und E-U 6 beziehungsweise 4 Fünfliniensysteme mit schwarzer Mensuralnotation (f. Uv 4 Fünfliniensysteme mit weißer Mensuralnotation). - Einband: 18. Jh. (?); mit Leder überzogene Holzdeckel.

Diese aus dem Dom von Parma stammende, vermutlich in der zweiten Hälfte des 15. Jh. geschriebene Handschrift besteht aus einem Hauptteil (f. I-CLVIII) und vorne und hinten zugebundenen Faszikeln (f. A-D, E-U). Die Handschrift trägt den Titel Libro del te Deum e Chirie del tempore Pasquale.

Covers of leather over wooden boards probably date from 18th century. Monophonic contents copied mainly in square chant notation on 4-line staves; polyphony on ff. A-D, ff. CXL-CXLVIII, and ff. Q-U, in black mensural notation on 4- or 5-line staves; polyphonic "Deo gratias" on f. U' in white mensural notation. Main corpus copied by more than one scribe (LayIM); polyphony added by two or three different scribes. Colored initials and miniatures. Title on first folio: "Libro del Te Deum e Chirie del Tempo Pasquale."

Second half of 15th century (MasseraCS). Copied in Parma, for use by cathedral choir.
