General Description

A Tenor partbook. Copied by Ludwig Iselin. Several concordances with BasU F.X.21. Copied in Basel. Owned by the law professor and lutenist Ludwig Iselin (1559-1612), of Basel. Acquired by present library from Iselin estate in 1669.

Original covers of paper reinforced with parchment from 14th-century liturgical manuscript. No index. Copied by Ludwig Iselin (RichKM), who also wrote portions of BasU F.IX.32-5 and BasU F.X.21 (KmetzH). Staff height 16. No initials or decoration. Watermark resembles Briquet #1323 (KmetzH).
