A Discantus partbook from a set of four volumes, each consisting of the print RISM 1543/24, with manuscript additions. Scribal concordance with BasU F.X.I7-20 (RichKM). Probably copied by Jacob Hagenbach, who also wrote portions of BasU F.X. 17-20 and manuscript additions in BasU F.IX.63 and BasU kk.IV. 19-22 (KmetzH). Many pieces have text incipits or titles only. Copied in Basel. Original owner and compiler was Jacob Hagenbach (1533-ca. 1566), a Basel goldsmith; owned later by Hagenbach's grandson, Johann Jakob Hagenbach. Probably acquired by present library from latter's estate in 1649.

These latter folios contain a piece notated with pictures of wine casks, fruits, vegetables, etc.; a key to the note values represented by the pictures is pasted onto the inside back cover of the T.
