General Description

Two choirbooks which were originally one.

Ms. 1166 was copied by two scribes, who copied Fol. 1-15r and 15v-18v respectively. From Valencia or Catalonia: held at the Colegiata de Gandía (Valencia) until 1941. Lost until recently.

Ms. 1967 (190 folios) was copied chiefly by the first scribe of Ms. 1166, with additions made by a later scribe.

Physical Description

f. 6r in MS 1967 is the final side of the Lamentations which open MS 1166; the remaining folios of MS 1166 - in a later hand - probably were not originally adjacent to those opening folios.
