XVIe s. 283ff. Papier, 540 x 415 mm. Foliotation ancienne en haut des ff., le plus souvent rognée. Foliotation moderne au bas des ff. Les ff. 1, 213v, 214, 229v, 230, 265r-v, 283v sont blancs. Notation mesurée blanche. 10 portées par p. Capitales ornées à la plume avec figures et armes du roi de France. Reliure ancienne cuir estampé, bouillons de cuivre portant au dos sur une collette: «Liber missarum in cantu figurato Jusquini.»
Dans ce ms. de plusieurs mains (on en distingue 7 sinon 8, dont 2 principales), on peut d'après le répertoire distinguer 2 sections: I.- Nos 1 à 15, constituant le corps du ms. avec 15 messes copiées par 2 scribes: scribe A, ff. 1 à 64; scribe B, ff. 64v à 247. Répertoire franco-flamand. Ecriture cursive gothique française. Copie effectuée vraisemblablement vers 1520 ou peu après. II.- Nos 16 à 24, moins homogène avec un répertoire liturgique plus varié, copié sans plan préétabli par plusieurs scribes (dont quelques amateurs à l'écriture peu soignée) entre ca. 1530 et 1550, la messe de Crecquillon (no 25) n'ayant guère pu être connue en Italie avant cette dernière date. Or, c'est certainement dans ce pays que le ms. a été compilé, probablement à Rome par des scribes français. L'encre ayant rongé le papier, le ms. est malheureusement en voie de détérioration rapide.
