RISM Description

RISM

XVIe s., 88ff.

Attrib. éventuelle sans preuves convaincantes à Richafort parC.W. Fox (Report II, 66).Publ. cf. CF 53 n° 9. (Elzinga 1993 disagrees with both.)

General Note

THe 'elevation motet' included in the Sanctus ('Adoramus te') also appears in the same place in Antoine de Fevin's Missa Parva in Bologna Q19 - where Clinkscale suggests it has more authentic links with the surrounding music (ClinkF), though ElzingaJMQ uses similar arguments to position it in the Missa Quem dicunt
