RISM

XVIe s. 212ff (dont 5 de musique). Papier, 205 x 135 mm. Foliotation ancienne: 1-293 (avec lacunes des ff. qui mq.) et foliotation moderne continue: 1-212. Dans la foliotation moderne, les ff. lv, 2r-v, 3, 4v, 5, 6v, 7, 8r-v sont blancs. Notation mesurée blanche. 5 portées par p. Aux. ff. 205-209: Tavola di tutto il libro.

Recueil de laudi dont 4 seulement avec musique qui semblent avoir été copiées plus tard aux p. restées vides, car la Tavola renvoie aux poèmes, mais pas aux pièces musicales. On peut situer et dater approximativement le ms. grâce aux notes suivantes: f.l, «Questo libro e ad uso di Fra Leone Forteguerri da Pistoia … Il quale prese l'habito nel MDXXIJ Allj XIJ di Septembre a hore una di Notte.» Et au dessous: «Questo libro e di Sr Lisabetta Tholomej di Seta. Lucia di Pistoia.»

Inscription on f. 1: "Questo libro di Sàta Lucia di Pistoia il quale gli dono fra Leono fortequerri suo carisso Zio: chi lo accalta si degni rendersse." Only the first five folios contain music; the rest have laude texts only.

Date 1522 in manuscript. Copied in Pistoia?
