A breviary consisting of 390 folios and three unnumbered paper flyleaves (one at the front, two at the back). The script is semi-Gothic and the music in small square notation of unmeasured type; the exclusive use of the long for single notes is noteworthy. The upper voice of the polyphony on f. 22-22v has been crossed out with diagonal strokes by a later hand, but there are no such marks on f. 129v. In both cases the notation is identical with that of the plainsong.

Relatively modern ink foliation in the middle of the left margin of each verso page till f. 390, after which the last three folios are numbered in pencil. The new foliation was also partly cut off in binding, but is generally visible just above the old red foliation. Of the new foliation, nos. 137, 272, 306, 358-363, 374, 376 are missing, and 147 appears twice.
Decoration
Initials are alternately blue and red, but at the beginning and elsewhere there are some in blue, red and gold.
