Processional for Holy Week for use by the cathedral of Florence. Written by several hands (no fewer than eleven different entries can be distinguished), it comprises 2 parts:

I. p. 1-20: Cantus partbook (from a set originally of two volumes) of an old repertoire of processional chants for the three days of Holy Week (the Tenor book is missing.), Copied by 2 scribes in the last 20 years of the fifteenth century. Two different copyists added the polyphonic pieces later on 2 empty pages (Nos. 2 and 6)

II. p. 21-43: polyphonic pieces (except No. 15), all related to the liturgy of Holy Week, copied in the latter decades in the sixteenth century by 9 different scribes on unused pages at the end of the collection.

1 parchment partbook (D-22 folios), 247 x 185. Modern pencil foliation. Original covers of tooled leather on wood, poorly preserved. A later hand has added several short pieces in choirbook format. Rubrics in red. This partbook sometimes contains bassus instead of discantus parts.

Ca. 1480, with additions from the first half of the 16th century. Copied in Florence.
