RISM Description

RISM BIV/3: 16. Jh.; 351 Blätter Pergament + 2 Vorsatzblätter und 1 in den hinteren Deckel eingeklebtes Nachstoßblatt, 590 x 390 mm. Originale Foliierung von f. 3-350; moderne Foliierung von f. 1-352 (inklusive 2 Vorsatzblätter und Nachstoßblatt). Je Seite meist 7 rote Vierliniensysteme mit böhmischer Choralnotation (mit mensuralen Elementen). - Einband: 16. Jh.; mit Leder überzogener Holzdeckel.

Die Handschrift ist ein aus Pilsen stammendes, als Antiphonar bezeichnetes Graduale, das von Paulus Melnicensis geschrieben und 1527 (vergleiche f. 350) vollendet wurde. Mit Ausnahme des Sanctus (siehe unten Nr. 2) gehören die mehrstimmige Stücke nicht zum Hauptcorpus.

Polyphonic Credo fragment on front flyleaves is later addition in black mensural notation; polyphonic "Christe iudex" on rear flyleaf is later addition in white mensural notation.
