RISM BIV/3: 16. Jh.; 216 Blätter Papier, 315 x 207 mm. Moderne Foliierung von f. 1-216; originale Foliierung (ab moderne f. 10) von f. I-CCIV. Je Seite bis zu 11 schwarze Fünfliniensysteme mit gotischer Choralnotation - Einband: restauriert 1934; moderner Halblederband.

Diese Handschrift, ein Kantionale des Kleinbasier Karthäuserklosters, ist vermutlich im frühen 16. Jh. geschrieben worden. Die Tinte hat vielfach das Papier zerfressen. Titel der Handschrift siehe HusmannRISM, 23/24.

Inhalt: f. 1 Vorrede; f. 2-4 Register; f. 6-9 deutsche Liedtexte; f. 10ff. nach Festen zusammengefaßte Antiphonen, Cantica, Hymnen, Responsorien, Ordinariums- und Propriumsgesänge, Sequenzen und Tropen.

Hufnagel notation; initials, titles, and rubrics in red and black. The manuscript is a mostly monophonic liturgical book. Polyphony is found on ff. 130-130'.
