RISM Description

RISM BIV/3: 15. Jh.; 252 Blätter Pergament, 680 x 460 mm. Moderne Foliierung von f. 1-252. Je Seite 9 rote Vierliniensysteme mit böhmischer Choralnotation (zum Teil mit mensuralen Elementen). Reich mit Miniaturen versehen. - Einband: 15./16. Jh., mit braunem Leder überzogene Holzdeckel, Blindpressung; Schließen fehlen.

Die in der Literatur als Kuttenberger Kantional bekannte Handschrift aus dem späten 15. oder frühen 16. Jh. ist ein Graduale in lateinischer Sprache für die böhmischen Utraquisten der Kathedralskirche St. Jakob in Kutná Hora (Kuttenberg). Mehrstimmig sind nur zwei Patrem in Mensuralnotation.

Inhalt: f. 1v ganzseitige Miniatur; f. 2-32v Kyrie und Gloria, meist tropiert; f. 33-51v Sanctus und Agnus; f. 52-60 Patrem; f. 60-62v Antiphonen; f. 62v-149v Proprium; f. 150v-250 Sequenzen; f. 251-252v leer.
