RISM B IV/3: 15. Jh.; 161 Blätter Papier, 210 x 140 mm. Die ersten 15 Blätter mit alter Foliierung : f. 113-127; ab f. 128-273 moderne Foliierung - Einband: 18./19. Jh., Leder mit Goldpressung.

Die Handschrift enthält Musiktraktate (siehe unten) und ab f. 209 in schwarzer Mensuralnotation und in gotischer Choralnotation aufgezeichnete Gesänge. Sie wurde wohl im Kloster Melk um 1462 geschrieben (vergleiche f. 183 und 204v). Das einzige mehrstimmige Stück ist auf 6 (f. 209v) beziehungsweise 3 (f. 210) roten Fünfliniensystemen in Mensuralnotation aufgezeichnet.

[Translation] 15th century; 161 paper leaves, 210 x 140 mm. The first 15 pages with old foliation: f. 113-127; then modern foliation f. 128-273 - Binding: 18th-19th century, leather with gold tooling.

The manuscript contains music treatises (see below) and from f. 209 vocal music in black mensural and gothic choral notation. It was probably written in the monastery of Melk up to 1462 (see f. 183 and 204v). The only polyphonic piece is in mensural notation on respectively 6 (f. 209v) or 3 (f. 210) red five-line systems.
