A Discantus partbook. Several layers of music, separated by extensive sections of blank folios. Three main layers, each copied by a different scribe; seven or more additional scribes (including 'Jo. Schineis(?),' whose name appears at end of piece #42) made later entries on folios left blank by main scribes. The scribe of the first 40 pieces is identical with the scribe of the second half of D-Z 81/2 (Gasch 2013). Possibly copied at Benedictine monastery in Neresheim. Became property of Thurn und Taxis family in connection with secularization in 1803; transferred to family's court library in Regensburg c. 1861.
