This is the second volume of the three Mangon Choirbooks, containing 102 motets by various composers (four as fragments). Dates and attributions of pieces are given in inventory when present. The manuscript was copied in blackish-brown ink by one large, very neat hand (probably Johannes Mangon) in an elegant minuscule, almost certainly the same hand as in Choir Book I; two other hands are also present in the codex. Scribe 3 (fol. 118v–119r, 209v–210r) was a late sixteenth-century copyist who was probably the composer Michael Guilelmus. Scribe 2 (190v–192r, 199v–203r) is also that of a late sixteenth-century scribe who was probably the composer Lambertus de Monte.
