Hystoriographi aciem

Composer
Genre Motet

General Note

For the birth of Kazimierz, second son of Władysław II Jagiełło in 1426. The text is perhaps by Stanisław Ciołek, vice-chancellor to Jagiello and Bishop of Poznan, or by Mikołaj z Błonia. Possibly arranged from a previously-composed ballade to accommodate the lengthy text (Gondko2020).
