Attribution Note
Attributed to Josquin only in Petrucci's "Missae Josquin 2" (1505) and Vatican CS 23 (closely related). A letter of Giovanni Spataro (1532) quotes part of the Osanna and also attributes it to Josquin. The Credo is attributed to Tinctoris in Specialnik; and the "Et incarnatus" copied in Erasmus Rotenbucher's "Diphona amoena et florida" (RISM 1549-16) is attributed to Obrecht.
