General Description

Used as binding reinforcement for an antiphonale. Copied in Hungary. Brought to Clarist convent in Bratislava during 16th century by nuns from Order of Saint Lambert de Somlevasarhely. Fragments removed from binding of antiphonale by Laszlo Mezey; now preserved separately.

Images were kindly provided by Prof Charles Brewer from a black-and-white microfilm dating from his work on the fragments in 1980. These fragments cannot current be located by the library and appear to be missing now. The scans have been joined (the leaves were photographed in halves) by DIAMM.
