A Veronese hymnary (the Office of St. Zeno appears for April 12th on f. 89). Polyphony added on f. 190v consists of two lines: the first is set to the text [L]ucis creator optime lucem dierum proferens while the second has only the principal letters of the text, Lccat | otm | lcderpf rens | . Rudimentary bar-lines run through both voices (the neumes are slightly squarer than those of the corpus). A number iiii stands over the second voice at | o t m | and secum at the following phrase; the same number appears over the monodic Amen, which follows the two-part writing.

RISM Description
RISM B/IV 1: An 11th century parchment hymnary meas. 220 x 143 mm. and containing 190 folios numbered at t.r.r. in modern pencil. The 17th century binding is of mottled black-brown paper over pulp boards, and there is one unnumbered paper flyleaf each end. The notation is of Italian neumatic type on dry-point lines, with one red f and one yellow c line per stave. There are 11 staves per page. The round minuscule script employs red initials, the main ones being decorated. With respect to the origin of the ms, it is quite clearly Veronese, since the Office of St. Zeno appears for April 12th on f. 89. While the ms corpus dates from the end of the 11th century, the polyphony is on a 12th century page added to the original ms on f. 190v. It consists of two lines of staflfless neumes, mainly ligatures, of which the first is set to the text [L]ucis creator optime lucem dierum proferens while the second has only the principal letters of the text, namely Lccat | otm | lcderpf rens | . Rudimentary bar-lines run through both voices, and the neumes are slightly squarer than those of the corpus. An enigmatic number iiii stands over the second voice at | o t m | and secum at the following phrase. The same number appears over the monodic Amen, which follows the two-part writing. The beginning of the upper voice has been lost with a torn-off piece of the page, but this probably contained no more than the first ligature of the upper voice, since only the first letter of Lucis has gone.
