This fragment of a larger manuscript was probably copied in Burgundy (WrightFM). It was kept in the library of the Carmelite monastery at Dijon since at least 1512, and was transferred to the Bibliothèque Municipale during the Revolution. It was recovered in 1971 from the binding of the incunabulum Vocabularius breviloquus (Basel, 1480), now preserved at the Dijon library under the signature 'Incunable 20397.'
