RISM Description
RISM B/IV 3: 14./15. Jh.; 299 Blätter Papier, 295 x 215 mm. Alte Foliierung (15. Jh.) von f. I-XXIII, anschließend f. 1-296 (Ziffern fehlen von f. 1-140); ab originale f. 288 jüngere Bleistiftfoliierung von f. 287-304. Mehrere Blätter fehlen. - Einband: 19. Jh.; Pergament
Inhalt: f. I-XXIII + f. 1 Missale (Advent bis Quinquagesima); f. l/2v verschiedene Texte, zum Teile mit einstimmigen Notation; f. 2v-286 Fortsetzung des Missale; f. 286v-291v Ordinariumssätze; f. 292-295v Gradualeteil; f. 296-302v Kalendar; f. 303-304v Antiphonen, Pfingstproprium.
[Translation] 14th/15th century. 299 sheets of paper, 295 x 215 mm. Old foliation (15th century) of f. I-XXIII, then f. 1-296 (missing digits of f. 1-140); from original f. 288 later pencil foliation of 287-304. Several leaves are missing. - Binding: 19 Century, parchment.
This manuscript, probably from the Heiligenkreuz, has a Graduale section in gothic chant notation beginning on f.286v. 11 (f. 286v: 10) four-line systems per page. Although the Calendar is for the year 1375, the neumed sections were probably copied in the early 15th century. The only polyphony is a Kyrie on f. 286v (five-line systems with red F-line).
Contents: f. I-XXIII + f. 1 Missal (Advent to Quinquagesima); f. l/2v various texts, for parts with monophonic notation; f. 2v-286 continuation of the Missal, f. 286v-291v mass ordinary pieces; f. 292-295v Graduale; f. 296-302v Kalendar; f. 303-304v antiphons, propers for Pentacost.
