General Description

A Quintus partbook from a set of six, in large format similar to a choirbook. It contains a five-voice mass and 10 motets, at least some of which were composed as a 'Gratulatio de restitutae pace' (Tenor p.19) celebrating the conclusion of the Seven Years’ War between Denmark and Sweden, and which may have constituted a liturgical cycle. Copied by Johannes Flamingus at the court in Schwerin.
