Choirbook with five voice mass propers and ordinary settings for five and six voices. Copied mostly by a single scribe, with additions by two other scribes and some later corrections by others. Probably of German-Austrian origin. In possession of Klosterneuberg Abbey by 1656, and possibly copied for it (LindK).

Six watermarks: (i-ii) a crested snake, two variants, found on dated paper from Kempten, Bavaria, of 1594-5; (iii-iv) snake with trefoil crest and arms of Kaufbeuren, two variants, found elsewhere on paper dated 1590; (v) a barely-legible watermark; (vi) eagle in circle with crown, Briquet #207, found in Italian documents of 1587-98
