General Description

An Altus partbook from a (probably incomplete) set of five books; each consists of 10 prints with manuscript additions. 7 of the ms pieces are bound at the front (Mus.Löb.31,1), the remaining 33 at the back (Mus.Löb.31,12), although the Tenor book does not have, or has lost, the ms additions at the front of the book. Copied by several scribes, among them Christoph Nostwitz.

The manuscript was at one time in the Löbau Ratsbibliothek, but was deposited at the library in Dresden in 1890.
