A single Discantus partbook, containing a 'speaker' part in recitative, interrupted by melismas on Hebrew letters; German text, a debate (as the title states) between Mercy and Justice, with a final judgment of Christ. Possibly a dramatic form with interspersed Lamentations? Only this part survives.
Probably composed & copied by Valentin Coberger, who signs at the beginning and who 'corrected' the piece in 1600.

At end: "Valentinus Coberger Cantor in Nivosis Montibus Anno Christi 1600 hanc Concertationem correxit".
Date (of composition?) 1590 at the top, 'corrected' in 1600 at the bottom.
