Mandatum for Maundy Thursday, f. 60 and 63-responsories procession for Easter and Ascension Day, f. 67 and 71v-responsories procession for Purificatio and Assumptio BMV f. 93ff. various prayers. From an Italian Dominican monastery according to Frere and van Dijk (see literature). Among the usual monophonic liturgical chants, there are two 2-voice Benedicamus dominos (see Incipit list), of which the second piece is a shorter version of the first.

RISM Description

RISM B/IV 4: 15. Jh., 117 Blätter Pergament + 4 Vorsatz- (1 Pergament- und 3 Papier-) und 13 Nachstoß-Blätter. (1 Pergament- und 12 Papier-Blätter.), 165 x 120 mm. Moderne Bleistift-Foliierung an der oberen, rechten Ecke der Seite. Je Seite 5 rote Vierliniensysteme mit schwarzer und, bei den zweistimmigen Stücken, schwarzer und roter, nicht-mensural Quadratnotation auf dem gleichen System. - Einband: vermutlich 16. Jh.; gepreßtes Leder.

Diese Handschrift., ein Processionale, Kyriale und Rituale, stammt nach Frere und van Dijk (vergleiche Literatur) aus einem italienischen Dominikanerinnenkloster. Unter den üblichen einstimmigen liturgischen Gesängen befinden sich zwei 2-stimmige Benedicamus domino-Sätze (vergleiche Incipitverzeichnis), von denen das zweite Stück eine kürzere Version des ersten darstellt.
