General Description

Fragment of a parchment leaf with late 15th (or early 16th) century musical notation repurposed as a cover for a late 17th century notarial register. The visible "recto" side of the leaf contains the contratenor part of a (presumably 4-part) Gloria setting. Some notes and ligatures on the otherwise concealed "verso" side of the leaf are visible due to worm damage to the front board and pastedown.
