General Description

A Bassus partbook. Copied by several scribes. Copied in Mantua. Part of large collection of printed and manuscript music assembled and used by Gonzaga ducal chapel during 16th century; eventually housed in Church of Santa Barbara, completed in 1565. Further on Santa Barbara collection under MilC 12.
