General Description

A fragment of a Bassus partbook from a set of five volumes, each of which consists of the prints RISM L851, U120, U122, and K990, with manuscript additions. Copied by a single scribe, who also wrote portions of most other WrocU manuscripts. Copied in Brieg (= Brzeg). Formerly owned by Brieg Gymnasial-Bibliothek; transferred to present location in 1890.

Kuhn's catalogue numbers the prints 8-11. The manuscript pieces are: 1-7 at the beginning; 12-43 at the end. Most of Bassus book lost (only nos. 1-3 present); nos. 4-7 in D & T books only; A does not have nos 1-7.
