Robert Klugseder identifies this fragment as part of a 13th-century tropar (the only tropar in his database of music-fragments), 'Viam vident veritatis' as alleluia-trope. Reference is only given to Clemens Blume, Tropen des Missale im Mittelalter (Analecta Hymnica XLIX, Leipzig, 1906), p. 219. (see http://www.oeaw.ac.at/kmf/cvp and http://www.fwf.ac.at/en/abstracts/abstract.asp?L=E&PROJ=P20576). Michael Friebel identifies the same composition and others as early motets with Latin, French and untexted concordances in F, W2, Ma, Ba, Mo, Fauvel and Oxford Rawlinson C 510. Probably part of a polyphonic university-manuscript.
