Copied by chiefly by Johann Seytz; the scribe of 214r-228r was probably Carolus Andrea (at around 1600 there were three significant musicians in Irsee, two of which are included in this manuscript as composers and one appears as a scribe: Gregor Stemmele, died on 16 May 1619 and Carolus Andreae, who became Abbot in 1612 and died in 1627. Johannes Seytz, the scribe of the manuscript died on 15 August 1619 (Kornmuller, II, 1, p.231f, also Steichele VI, 205)). From the Benedictine monastery of Irsee.
