I, 468 No. LIV, similarly II, 292 No. VIII) with a rolled stamp with four puttos with the coat of arms of Electoral Saxony, 150 X 15mm. On the back are the words Sac. Cant. Volumen VI; on the front pastedown Catal, Music in Folio N 1. Four partly torn off cloth clasps from the back to the front; 24 partly torn off leader tabs at the edges.

Modern foliation I-II, 1-229. Between fol. II and 1 there are two folios are missing, with some loss of text; after fol. 229 there is one folio missing, probably with no loss of text

ornate initials of the 'Cadellen' type, occasionally filled with gold: adorned with tendrils and figurative ornaments. There are also decorative initials with tendril elements and figurative elements, in red, blue, yellow and green. F. 1r has a decorative initial with images of animals, filled with silver, flower tendrils and pheasants. F. 8v has a marginal column that depicts a hunting scene; f. 4v-5r has picture initials; f. 4v shows the Creation of Eve with the monogram of Michael Kirchmaier and baptism of Jesus with coat of arms of the monastery of St Emmeram. F. 5r depicts the Nativity and God Father with the body of Jesus; the margin is decorated with tendrils with birds, four puttos on each side, two of which bear the shield. F. 4v has a crowned double-headed eagle; f. 5r has crossed keys (Regensburg). Indications of the voices are decorative, with paintings in water colour of moderate quality.
