General Description

A Sextus partbook from a set of six volumes of Christmas motets. Copied by one main scribe, with later additions by two or more different hands. Main scribe possibly Erasmus Zollner, cantor at Gymnasium Poeticum in Regensburg during 1570's. Copied in Regensburg, probably for use by choir of Gymnasium Poeticum in local evangelical services.
