General Description

A Discantus partbook from a set of four volumes: the print RISM 1542/7, with manuscript addition on verso of title page. Contains one Italian secular piece (S. Festa).

Single scribe, who is also known to have written one piece in LonBLM K.4.f.5. Possibly copied in the Low Countries. Purchased by present library from Bernard Quaritch Ltd. in 1911.

4 paper partbooks, 163 x 203, each consisting of the print RISM 1542/7, with manuscript addition on verso of title page (in T book, piece continues onto facing recto). Rebound in modern covers in 1912. Copied by a single scribe, who also wrote one piece in LonBLM K.4.f.5. No initials or decoration.

Mid 16th century. Copied in Low Countries? Purchased by present library from Bernard Quaritch Ltd. in 1911.
