General Description

Score format. Copied by a single scribe, who also wrote HerdF 9820. Probably of German origin. All but one of the pieces are heavily annotated with crosses and asterisks noting suspensions, passing dissonances, first-inversion progressions, etc (FallowsHerd), indicating use as a study source.
