vi + 213 + ii paper folios, 420 x 280. Several folios now missing at end. Original foliation, 1-213, on upper right rectos. Original covers of leather over boards, tooled with decorative fleur-de-lis motifs. No index. Copied mostly by a single scribe, probably Gaspar Fernandes, chapelmaster and organist at Guatemala Cathedral 1599-1606, and at Puebla Cathedral 1606-29; same scribe also wrote GuatC 2, PueblaC 1, and ff. 37'-39' of PueblaC 2. Piece on ff. [ii'-v] is later addition by different scribe. Inked calligraphic initials.
