General Description

Composite of two originally separate manuscripts bound together in first half of 17th century (Part I = ii + 68 folios; Part II = 100 folios). Part I, a complete set of Bernardo Pisano's responsories for Holy Week, copied by one main scribe, with later additions by two other scribes (f. [iii] and ff. 64'-65, respectively). Part II, Lamentations, responsories etc for Tenebrae, copied mostly by Braccio Baglione, chaplain at Church of San Lorenzo, Florence (D'AccSA); later additions by three other scribes on ff. 92'-93, ff. 93'-95, and ff. 96'-98, respectively. Copied in Florence.

Composite of two originally separate manuscripts bound together in first half of 17th century: Part I = ii + 68 folios, with original ink foliation, 1-67, on upper right rectos (flyleaves and first folio not numbered); Part II = 100 folios, with original ink foliation, 1-98, on upper right rectos (first folio not numbered; "93" applied to two consecutive folios). Part I copied by one main scribe, with later additions by two other scribes (f. [iii] and ff. 64'-65, respectively).
