RISM Description

Sermons, calendar, letters, etc, 230 folios in total. 5 5-line staves on f. 43v. Binding brown leather over wood boards.

RISM B/IV 3: 15. Jh.; 230 Blätter Papier, 220 x 165 mm. Auf f. 43v: 5 Fünfliniensysteme mit gotischer Choralnotation mit vereinzelten mensuralen Elementen. - Einband: mit braunem Leder überzogene Holzdeckel.

Diese aus der Kartause St. Barbara-Köln stammende und um die Mitte des 15. Jh. geschriebene, liturgische Handschrift gemischten Inhalts (Sermones, Rituale, Kalendar, Briefe, Traktate) enthält nur im unteren Teil von f. 43v Musik.

[Translation] 230 sheets of paper, 220 x 165 mm. On f. 43v: 5 Five-line systems with gothic choral notation with isolated mensural elements. - Binding: wth brown leather-covered wooden boards.

This came from the Charterhouse of St. Barbara-Cologne, and was written in the middle of the 15th Century. It is a liturgical manuscript with mixed content (Sermons, rituals, calendar, letters, treatises) and contains music only on the lower part of f. 43v.
