General Description

Early 12th century copy of Boethius, De musica, with glosses; bound with 15th century copy of Boethius’s De arithmetica, followed by the commentary by Simon Bredon. The De arithmetica is in the hand of Dunstaple, who owned the book (f.1r. John Dunstable’s name as owner, erased), signed the colophon on f. 113v, and glossed the De musica.
