Two separate, unrelated manuscripts. Part I: 1 an Altus partbook. Copied by one or two main scribes; last two motets added later by different hand. Both parts formerly owned by Jesuit library in Cologne; later transferred to Cologne Gymnasial-bibliothek, then to present library.

No covers; modern string ties hold folios together. No index. Copied by a single scribe. Staff height ca. 16. Small inked calligraphic initials. Watermark resembles Briquet #196.

Second half of 16th century. Presumably of German origin. Part II apparently owned by Guilielmi Lohns (inscription at beginning of A book). Both parts formerly owned by Jesuit library in Cologne; later transferred to Cologne Gymnasial-bibliothek, then to present library.
