General Description

Contains primarily non-musical items: Vocabulary (f. 1-80, 82-87, 89-120, dated 1426), Tabulae and Sermons. On f. 81r / v, 88r / v, and f. 122r and 123v are some sloppy and sometimes erroneously quoted polyphonic pieces. Strikingly, there are concordances with Bohemian handwriting (the hand of the main corpus).

RISM B/IV 3: 15. Jh.; 198 Blätter Papier + 1 Vorsatzblatt, 170 x 110 mm und 190 x 120 mm. Moderne Foliierung von f. 1-198; einzelne originale Foliozahlen. - Einband: 15. Jh. (?); mit weißem Leder überzogene Holzdeckel mit Schließen.

Diese aus Hildesheim stammende Handschrift aus der ersten Hälfte des 15. Jh. enthält hauptsächlich Nichtmusikalisches: Vokabular (f. 1-80, 82-87, 89-120; datiert 1426), Tabulae und Sermones. Auf f. 81r/v, 88r/v und von f. 122r bis 123v finden sich einige unsorgfältig und zum Teil fehlerhaft notierte mehrstimmige Stücke in schwarzer Mensuralnotation des frühen 15. Jh.; je Seite 7 oder 8 Fünfliniensysteme. Auffallend sind die Konkordanzen mit böhmischen Handschriften.
