General Description

5 paper folios, each containing a different voice part (Discantus, Altus, Tenor, Bassus, Quintus) for the motet 'Domine non est exaltatum'. Apparently copied by Joachimus Groff(?), named in inscription on bottom recto of fifth folio. Probably copied in Zwickau. Dedicatory inscription to Wolfgang Schleifer (d. 1557) on verso of fifth folio; Schleifer was cantor at the churches in Zwickau of St. Catherine from 1525 to 1529 and of St Mary from 1529 to 1535.

5 paper folios, each containing different voice part (DATBQ) for motet "Domine non est exaltatum," 334 x 210 (folio with discantus measures 195 x 210). No foliation or pagination. No covers; folios unbound. Apparently copied by Joachimus Groff(?), named in inscription on bottom recto of fifth folio. No initials or decoration.

Second quarter of 16th century. Probably copied in Zwickau. Dedicatory inscription to Wolfgang Schleifer (d. 1557) on verso of fifth folio; Schleifer was active at Church of St. Catherine and Church of St. Mary in Zwickau, beginning in 1525.
